Lehigh County Office of Aging and Adult Services has a wide variety of programs and services available to residents of Lehigh County. Staff there provide assistance with benefit applications such as PACE, Property Tax/Rent Rebate, and others as well as information and listings of subsidized apartment buildings, home health care agencies, assisted living facilities/personal care homes, nursing homes, retirement communities and health insurance counseling.
Lehigh County Link is a collaborative effort funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Long Term Living to provide information and linkages to long-term services and supports for people over 60 and persons between the ages of 18 and 59 with disabilities.
Meals on Wheels of Northampton County provides home-delivered meals to seniors and adults with disabilities who live in Northampton County.
The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley connects people to volunteer opportunities throughout the area.
Second Harvest of the Greater Lehigh Valley and Northeast PA has the mission to obtain food and distribute it to people in need through area non-profits and to provide resources for education and advocacy to end hunger. This site can link you to a food pantry where you can get donated groceries for your family.
The Lehigh Valley Alliance on Aging is a multi-partner initiative run by United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley that advances model solutions to community problems affecting older adults.
